I ❤️ World Market

For just $6.99 I picked up this handy, dandy contraption at World Market today- an apple corer, peeler, slicer!

Before I married Chris, I never needed one but Chris loves all things apples and it's gonna make my life easier!

It was pretty simple and quick!

After World Market, I swung my Publix for a bag of apples and paired with a crust in the fridge, we feasted on apple turnovers tonight!

Thank you, World Market, for such a delicious deal!

A new fall favorite

I made a new Pinterest recipe today to share with Chris's family tomorrow- delicious White Chocolate Pumpkin Snickerdoodles. Click here for the recipe!

They are really quick and easy and the blogger who shared it on Pinterest has lots of tips at the end of the recipe.

A soft, chewy, pumpkiny treat? Chris has already declared it a Brooks family tradition!

A Magnificent Inclusio

The long-awaited, highly anticipated Study of Revelation began last night at BSF! It was great to walk in the doors and see familiar faces...and name tags!

Ever since it was announced a few years ago that we'd be doing Revelation this year, high attendance was expected and I doubt anyone was disappointed! During lecture, it was literally shoulder to shoulder (and about 150 degrees!).  My best estimate is between 400-500 ladies plus the school program.

Karen, our teaching leader, spoke on how the Bible is one magnificent "inclusio", a literary term that means what happens at the beginning, happens at the end:

Genesis has the creation of the heavens and earth...Revelation has the new heavens and earth
Genesis has the creation of sunlight....Revelation has the Son as the light

I left feeling blessed over again for the impact BSF has had in my life over the last 11 years. I'm excited to see what He has in store this year!
